Pre-Examination
Candidates are fully responsible to know the dates, details and instructions of their examinations.
Get regular updates on the Latest Schedule on the exam centre's website
Check the subjects and options on the Statement of Entry emailed to you and your parent/guardian
Report any errors or mistakes to the exam centre ASAP via email
On Examination Day
I.C. / Passport MUST be produced for verification before and during every examination. Candidates will not be allowed to sit for the exam without it. Statement of Entry is not sufficient.
You MUST be on time for all your examinations and any required periods of supervision.
You MUST provide what you need (e.g. Stationery, calculator (if permitted), and geometrical instruments)
You MUST NOT sit an examination in the name of another candidate.
Registration Time (aka Reporting Time)
Oral Examination
30 minutes before your respective slot
Written/Main Examination
AM Session: 8 AM
PM Session: 12 PM
Evening Session: TBC
No matter what time your exam starts, you MUST report at the Registration Time to be quarantined away from electronics.
Acceptable Reasons for Late Arrivals:
Sudden Illness
Accident en route to Exam
Transportation difficulty beyond Candidate's control
Unacceptable Reasons for Late Arrivals:
Misreading the Timetable
Oversleeping
"Did not receive any email"
Dress Code
Candidates are required to observe smart casual attire.
Allowed:
T-Shirts with Sleeves
Long Pants/Jeans
Skirts (Knee-length or longer)
Shoes
Jacket/Sweater (encouraged)
Strictly not allowed:
Spaghetti strapped/sleeveless blouses
Torn Jeans
Shorts
Slippers/Sandals
First-time offenders will be warned and repeat offenders may be barred from sitting for the exam until properly attired.
Calculators
The calculator cannot be replaced by the calculator function of another device.
The Calculator cannot have:
Graphing capabilities
Programmable functions
Information retrieval capabilities
In Examination Hall
You MUST NOT talk to, attempt to communicate with or disturb other candidates once you have entered the examination room.
You MUST follow the instructions of the invigilator.
If you are in any doubt, speak to the invigilator.
When leaving the examination room, you MUST leave behind the question paper, your answer book or answer paper, rough work and any other (used or unused) materials.
Unauthorized Items in Examination Hall:
Statement of Entry
Mobile Phones/Electronics/Smart Watches/Products with Electronic Communication / Storage
Calculator covers
Instruction Sheets
Rough/Tracing Paper
Packaging with any form of text or images on it (e.g. Eraser cover)
Pencil cases and water bottles that can't be seen through
Geometrical Instrument casings
Food or drink not stored in transparent packaging or that might disturb other candidates (e.g. Fizzy drinks)
Possession of unauthorised materials is an infringement of the regulations and could result in DISQUALIFICATION from the examination and overall qualification.
